Caroline Lloyd – Treasurer
Dr Caroline Lloyd is a lecturer, module creator, and dissertation supervisor at multiple universities across the UK and Ireland working on online MSc psychology courses.
Her research interests broadly cover perinatal death, bereavement, and healthy relationships and sex education (including consent and misogyny). She published her first book Grief Demystified in 2019 and is currently working on a second, edited book on new theories/models/frameworks in grief. She has also worked on funded research projects in related areas and is disseminating in peer reviewed journals.
Previous to joining academic ten years ago, she worked as an accountant and HR professional in a variety of middle and senior management roles. She has also sat on the board at Roadpeace (supporting people bereaved after road crashes) and has also sat on the board as Vice Chair at Sexpression:UK (relationships and sex education). She has also provided significant voluntary work to CRUK and Macmillan with the terminally ill and at Cruse Bereavement Support with the bereaved.
She has been a member of ASDS since 2017 and is also a member of the Sex and Sexuality Research Group (SSERG) at Portsmouth University.
